I turned on my air conditioner the other day and the little LED on the button started flashing and the air wasn't being cooled. It was as if the air conditioner wasn't even on.
But then sometimes I turn it on and it works fine. It seems like just randomly the light flashes and the air doesn't get cooled. What's wrong? |

Actually your engines are designed to idle up slightly when the ac comes on. This is done automatically by the ecu. I've noticed that the older the engine the less it will idle up. Eventually the car will idle down on starting the ac and then idle back to just below regular idle. I noticed this over time with my previous '95 GT.
