im about to instll KYB GR2 gass struts with Tom's springs..i just wanted to know if i need to replace my strut mounts cause they are freakin 60 for a pair or can i just use the stock ones???

I chose to replace mine bcus of the winter seasons we have here in MI. My rear mounts looked rusted when I took them off. The fronts didn't have too much wear on them. Inspect your parts and if they seem ok then they should be fine. Yes, you're going to have to remove ALL your mounts once you change your shocks/rear strut anyways. If you can't recall from when you first changed your springs then most cases you're going to have to remove your whole assembly to make sure. Honestly, you REALLY don't need to change them. I just did just so that everything I put on was brand new. |
