I go on vacation and when i get back my antenna makes this grinding sound every time i put it up. The motor runs even though the antenna's all the way up. Then when i turn the car off the motor runs for the tnna to come down but unless i give it a little touch it stays stuck in the up position. Then all of a sudden i find this ebay item that i have NEVER seen.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=46093 has ne1 had this problem....do i have to buy this or is there another easier way to fix this problem?? thanx in advance |

I lent my car to my brother for the day and to say thanks he washed it for me in a car wash. Well, he snapped off my antenna. It made that grinding noise even though there was nothing there. Based on that, I think its the antenna piece, and that ebay one might fix your prob. I'm no expert though, thats just my 2 cents.
