ok while ive had my golf clubs out of the car everynow and then. that damn sub box which was nicely built (not by me) keeps sliding to the back and making me pissed about so i have decided to buy some brackets and drill them into the cardboard that holds the spare down. I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of brackets to use , best to use for holding 2 12" in a box against the back seats, other possible solutions. this is getting annoying and i want to get on this project asap. Also do anyone know if the back of their back seats are also made out of hard cardboard and kinda just hanging off like mine are

What we did last weekend with Natalie's car was we fabricated two straps out of aluminum, and then screwed them to the underside of the sub box. We then drilled a couple holes in the trunk floor and bolted the two straps to the floor of the trunk. It's really solid, and isn't going to go anywhere.
With my next system, I'm going to bolt the enclosure into the floor from inside of the enclosure, and then put the sub in after the enclosure is bolted in. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
