Alright, I'm irritated. This is the second sub I've gone through, the exact same kind as my last one to. I was just driving down the road listening to Lloyd Banks-on Fire and all of a sudden the base dissapears. Now, when I stopped the car, I checked the amp, and the amp was still on so obviously my sub blew or over heated. I highly doubt the sub blew because that sub can take quite a beating and is pretty Powerful. It's a MTX Thunder 8000 12". IF someone knows more about it and disagrees, please lemme know so I can beat someone up.

Last time this happened I checked my ground and it was good. But I'll check it again for sure. The enclosure is just a sub zero 12" box. Only air leaks I could think of is like a screw hole in it. Box is sealed up pretty well. and it can run 1000 watts is what the box says and what the guy who sold it to me said (even though he said could run 1500 easy) But I'm not sure what the rms is. But I know the Amp is a 1000 watt that rms's at...umm....damn, can't think of it. I think it was like 680-700 which is around what I was told I would need to run this sub and I mean, the sub thumped too man. Even ask Clipsetuner, it sounded like it was well powered, but I could be wrong.
