I wonder if somebody here knows the size of the front speakers. What sort of speakers will fit without mods? I'm planning to buy a set of Kicker components.

OK 2 things...
1) for the front, in my celica and many others, the stock speaker bracket does NOT hold 6.75 OR 6.5 speakers, even though most speaker magazines say otherwise... Shid, you must have a different model speaker bracket or something. 2) for the rear, 6.75´s work fine. I personally installed all of my speakers. I should have done a how-to, it was fairly painless once you get to the brackets... To get to the brackets, however, you have to remove both back seats and a crapload of panels. Any other questions you can contact me. The best thing to do is figure out whether or not ur speaker brackets in front are the same as pictured in my how-to and that of the "how to install 8" speakers in front"... If so, u gotta make a bracket... Shid, please take a picture of the bracket that you have in front... i´m curious. Ed. |
