I wonder if somebody here knows the size of the front speakers. What sort of speakers will fit without mods? I'm planning to buy a set of Kicker components.

Shid my 94 ST will hold an 8" speaker without modifications. 8" is the stock speaker size for my car. You need an adapter to mount anything smaller than 8". Many European cars come with 20cm stock speakers which is approximately 8". There is a guy registered on the site fromt he UK who installed 8" pioneer speakers mounting to without an adapter. So stop telling people you're right and everyone else is wrong. You'e only been registered since January, some of us have been here a few years.
