Can anyone help me. I want to remove the factory fitted sony double din unit in my celica and replace it with a single unit. I dont know how to get the thing out, any advice would be appreciated confused.gif

Removing the trim panel and taking the old stereo out is easy. I think the hardest part will be fitting the new radio because the gen 6 radio doesn't conform exactly to the normal DIN fitting used by almost every car. It wont slot in as easy as the Toyoya unit did and might need to adapt the new stereo's cage or mounting brackets. It is possible though.
(BTW You don't need to unplug the hazard or clock from the panel but it gives you more space to work in.)
