Ok i don't know where i came up with this idea but what would happen if i took like THREE vavle cover gaskets and layered them on the engine....what would happen...compression? torque? i have no clue

Your valve cover gasket just keeps the oil in the head. It really doesnt have anything to do with compression or engine performance. As for HEAD gaskets you would probably FUBAR your motor. Everything internal is measured and made precise for a reason. You may want a second opinion on this but I am sure that it wouldn't be a good idea.
