my kinda friend has a rsx type s (really suped up) anyways he burys the needle when racing past 9 grand.

and naturally i want to do this really bad but i was wondering what i would need to do to my car to make this safe?

i heard it was something about the ecu, i dont know.

anyways instead of asking him how he does it i thought id ask you guys what i would need to do to be able to bury my needle?

umm well depending on his peak horsepower burying the needle does nothing. hes just loosing peak power and faster acceleration. you shift just after your peak power as to keep pushing maximum power from your car. over reving does nothing but possibly cause damage to the life time of your motor.

what he said..... and why do you wanna bury the needle? when all it is goin to do is slow you down, cause once the engine hits peak hp the higher you rev it the curve goes down, and if you keep it revin at 8-9k or whatever rpms to redline you could do some serious damage if you keep it there for to long
