Preimier or JVC? Options

lol i know the topic sounds stupid. but which do u think is better quality for the price.

1) JVC KD-SHX700 for $240

or

2) Preimier DEH-760MP for $180


EDIT: just saw that the 760 only has 2.2 volt preouts. so now im looking at the Pioneer 8600MP but i get that for 326.

i really want 6V tho, dont want to spend the $, lol

I just bought the DEH-P760MP after deciding to go with that rather than a more expensive CDA-9813 from Alpine. Honestly, I'm not that happy with it, and really wish I'd have gone with the CDA-9813.

First, part of what's bad about the head unit are the 2 volt pre-outs. I figured that it wouldn't matter to me too much, since my bass already gets louder than I want it with the poor Sony pre-outs that were on my old head unit, but now I'm wishing that I could supply a higher voltage signal to the amp for my front stage. I'll probably end up using a $30 line driver to boost the signal so that I can take advantage of my amp's ability to accept up to an eight volt input signal.

Another thing I don't like too much about the head unit is the fact that when playing MP3 CDs, it's sometimes a bit delayed when switching from song to song using the next buttons on the deck. It seems to me like it takes a fraction of a second for the the CD player to beep and move to the next song.

And although the steering wheel remote is nice when it works, it's incredibly picky about having a clear signal path to the head unit. I have to move my hand out of the way when pushing the buttons on the remote to get the remote to work. This happens with all Pioneer steering wheel remotes from what I've read and researched. I think that different placement of the remote will help with this problem though.

That said, there are many good things about the head unit. Sound quality is excellent. The head unit, being a Pioneer, should be very reliable and long-lasting. The MP3 playback sounds good, and the unit has enough audio adjustments to make my system sound great. The display looks good, and has many display options.

Overall, I'm happy with the head unit for the $200 I paid for it brand new, but I still wish I'd have waited and got the Alpine unit. I'd take my Pioneer over a JVC head unit for sure though.
