How many sports cars do you see for sell in the $60K range in the US today. Very few. For that you can get a fairly well off Corvette and.... In the $30K range you have the 350Z, RX8, S2000, Evo, WRX STi, Mustang Cobra.... All have been well acclaimed for their performance/value. The Days of the $60k+ sports cars are over for the time being. The people that can afford them go for Porche and Vette which they can get for a bit cheaper, or they jump to the $100K+ mark. Sorry to kill any dreams of a sub 100K super car, but those days are over. I think we can live with vehicles in the 300-400hp range for a while. my 3c |
