 Whats the diff between premium and regular gas? |

this is prob already posted at celica.net but im too lazy and it takes too long to load
...so whats the difference between premium and regular gas? everyone ive talked to says that its just bs and theres no performance gain what are your opinions? |

most of it is just myth... however dont just go getting the economy stuff, it isnt really the octane as much as some of the other components in the fuel that change the effect... the previous owner of my friends 93 probe used economy for 2 years, now theres sludge buildup in his gas tank, hasnt had time/money to get a new one, so he has to buy 2 bottles of fuel treatment just to keep that junk from clogging his injectors...
that turbo blue stuff just reminded me of what happens when you put jet fuel into a stock bike... hehe... kaBOOM.... however 117 octane isnt a HUGE increase, its about 3 more than then average octane booster (around 114...) so really no harm done... --------------------  Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
