If youve followed my post then you well know that i shall be putting 8" subs in my door.
Other then sealing the door well with silicone would using that cotton stuff, sometimes put in sub boxes, be a bad idea? I would only use around the sub and areas of the door where the window and window mech would not stand a chance of getting tangled up with it. Is there n e thign else that i could do to make the subs in the door sound better. Notes: Planing on running two kicker comp 8"s with 80-100w each using a 2 channel amp and 8 gauge wire. |

Oooooops i forgot......
The white fiber is called "DACRON" and all that if for is to stop the displacment of the sound inside your sub box. I know people who stuff that sh#t into there boxes. WRONG.........If you are going to use it and i recommend you do, just place a layer on the pannel opposite the woofers pannel. -------------------- ![]() 312whp with more to come.... |
