Whats the biggest rims we can fit on a stock 6g, and how much of a pain is it to be able to fit bigger ones?

because cyprus roads are like sh*t, i am afraid of using 225/35's.. rolleyes.gif even some times 225/40. i dont mean that you ll have proplems for sure. but if your clutch life is 5 years it ll go 3 years..
when i put 17''s to my 5th gen celica (orginal was 15'') every one told me those think too. and i answered them if clutch burns, i buy new. i want to see those 17'' rims on my car. biggrin.gif i changed my clucth in one year.

I agree that any increase in size will hurt the clutch. However, I wouldn't advise someone with 19's to go with 18's on a larger tire. As I posted earlier, the two are almost the same size. 17's with 40's are almost perfect for a Celica. Same size as the original tire/rim combo. Also, an increase of 1.3" like my tires are wont destroy the clutch like most think. It all depends on how you drive. Being chrome 19's with little tires... I dont drive too aggresive. But maybe if my clutch does go out, I'll pay ACT another visit wink.gif I miss my 2600.
