Does anyone have (prefereably close up) pics of a TWM short shifter? I'm pretty positive I'm getting one, just want to see how it looks. Also, I've been told that it will wear down the clutch faster than with the stock shifter? Is this true?

After i installed my shifter, it did require a little more muscle for it to go in gear. It feels like it locks into gear better than the stock one. I personally like the way it feels, wish i would have got mine a long time ago. It only took about a good hour to install. If you have taken apart your center console before (where the E Brake is at) it makes things alot easier. I took the whole shift box out of the car and installed the TWM shifter outside of the car, then just put everything back in. Bottom line is..... I love my short shifter and wish i would have got it a long time ago. I haven't talked to anyone who has one who doesnt like thiers. i think its a good invesment This post has been edited by DaMnItLeWiS: Jul 31, 2004 - 11:39 AM -------------------- ![]() 95 Celica ST 95 Supra NA |
