today i found out the price of a 3s-gte 2 bar map sensor cost (not good). i found a 3 bar map for a decent price. would a 3 bar map sensor work on a 7a-fte setup? is there a 2 bar map that would work that isn't outragously priced?
thanks. |

You probably con only use one designed for that application. A 2.2 bar map sensor will have a different calibration curve then just a 2 bar, so at a given point the voltage drop of the sensor may be higher or lower then the ecm is expecting. Just as a toyota 2 bar may have a different curve then a ford 2 bar and they are not interchangable.
