 Fog lights, What are they? |

I removed the standard for lights on my Jap import Celica GT a few weeks ago.
I replaced them with new projector type ones. Problem is though, the new ones keep blowing. The new ones are 55w Anyone know if the originals were a different power rating? All the wiring is correct.

those look like my fog lights
 but im not too sure what the wattage is on mine..and i dont know how to take them out..mines are pretty stuck in there..and they have a really nice yellow/amber glow to them
