i wondering whats the best method,
the method i think i am going to do is just fiberglass it from the inside and fill it up on the out side with some everlast & dyna body filler.
but i think i heard that welding is the best method.
so if you have done this i would like to hear how ya did it

Do not do this. It'll fall in eventually. You have you weld a piece of sheet metal from behind then fill over top with a fine finishing putty. Make sure to spray the back of the weld to prevent rust. I just did mine last week. Pics to come within a week.


With that little piece using some gorilla hair will be fine. I think he means that fiberglass to metal isnt a great bond, which it isnt, but gorilla hair holds pretty well and its not a high movement/size piece.
