On an 94 st coupe I'm thinking of getting side skirts and a front lip but leaving the bumper out. Will this look stupid or should i go ahead and try to get a body shop to to fit the hatchback rear bumper on.

nah - just use a rivet gun and staple that beatch to the bumper.
