I'm almost positive that this won't happen, but the thought of selling my car and buying a five-speed silver on black '99 Infiniti G20 has crossed my mind lately. I'm sick of being harassed by the cops in my loud yellow coupe, and a quiet silver sedan won't attract near as much attention. Plus the G20 is a really sexy car in my opinion...they look good, handle well, are SR20-powered, and weigh less than 3,000 lbs. I posted a couple pics of a nice one below. That said, I don't think I could ever get rid of my Celica.
![]() Now if I were to sell my car, I'd first put in my OEM flywheel and a new clutch to solve my tranny problems. I'd also fix my hydraulic system. I'd repaint the front end of the car as well, with my current modifications completed. I'd sell the car with either the 18" wheels or the 17" wheels on it. The car has 117,000 miles on the chassis, with far less than that on the motor and tranny, which both function perfectly. So what do you guys think it's worth? I'm just kind of curious.

118,000 miles are on the chassis. On the engine, I was assured that it had under 45,000 miles on it when I bought it, so I'll say it has 55,000 or less on it now. The car has never been wrecked, and has no frame damage or anything of the sort. The engine runs great. ![]() The suspension is in good condition. It makes a bit of noise, but I'm fixing that soon...I've just been way too lazy to fix it. ![]() The interior is in good condition. The seats, dash, carpet, and headliner is all in good condition. There currently is no power mirror controller or cigar lighter and there are holes in the doors where the window cranks used to be, but I think I'll fix those problems soon by putting in the power door panels that are modified and putting the mirror controller and cigar lighter in the glovebox. The aftermarket power windows and door actuators work perfectly. The alarm is installed pretty well and the brain and most of the wiring is hidden well. All connnections are soldered. Remote start is installed(with no safety switch...I'd disable it if anyone wants it to be disabled), a window module is installed so that the windows roll up automatically when the car is armed. The siren is well hidden out of sight in a hard to access location and the wire for it is ran through the firewall, along with the fused power wire for the alarm and power windows. The four gauge power wire for the stereo is also ran through the firewall, and runs on the driver's side of the car to the trunk along with the remote wire. On the other side of the car, the Streetwires RCA cables are ran from the head unit to the trunk and area where the rear passenger speaker used to be. The Profile CA200 amplifier powering the 6.5" Pioneer REV coaxials in the front doors is mounted on a solid wood mounting plate that I fabricated and is hidden where the rear passenger-side speaker used to be. If you pull off the grill on the plastic panel, you gain easy access to the controls for the amp. The amp gets plenty of cooling in its current location. The trunk houses an Optima Red Top battery, a JBL BP300.1 amp, and a JBL P1020 subwoofer. The trunk, door panels, side panels next to the backseat, rear deck, and a few more areas are sound deadened with asphalt-backed 60 mil sound deadening material. This stuff is the same as Dynamat Extreme, but costed me far less. The doors and areas of the rear deck also have lots of paint on eDead v.3 sound deadening. ![]() The exterior looks great from a distance. Up close, you can find two paint chips in the driver's side fender that I touched up with touch up paint. The front bumper is being repainted soon, and will look great when back on the car. The rest of the car's paint is going to be worked on this weekend with Meguiar's products to give it that show-car shine. ![]() If you've got any more questions, just ask...I'd go into more detail but I'm off work in a minute and have to go get some stuff done. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
