Ignition PUSH BUTTON Options

does anyone know the wire color meanings of the wire that go to the ignition ....
cause i want to eliminate my key entirely when i get the push button so i need to know what each wire means so i can cut off the key

Ignition Push Button is not Auto-Start

This is a feature that is found on the Viper and S2000 to name two. You put the key into the ignition, turn it to "on" not "start" and then hit the "Start" button normally put in the cig lighter. Your car will start as if you turned to key to "Start." Auto-Start is found on alarm systems and keyless entry. For a manual you'll need a clutch-bypass so the clutch doesn't have to be despressed to engage the ignition. This of course is dangerous if you leave you car in gear and dont set your e-brake. Automatics will be fine either way. The "start" button is an awesome add-on to any car and makes a great "talk piece" as the MaryKay ladies would say. I'd either put it in my cig lighter or the circle area at the top of the left vent of the steering wheel. If someone would like to do a full how-to I'd love to see something written up.
