I have the 5sfe. I need to know a few things about the fuel filter. Is it under the air box? Does anyone have a how to? How much time does it take to replace (estimated)? What complications are there to changing the filter? Will this improve mpg and throttle response? My GT has 183k miles and the accelerator feels a little sluggish at times. I dont think the previous owner changed the filter at all. She was driving around with a big space missing from the gasket that goes on the valve cover.

i think the filter would be in the same place as the ST
which is behind the drivers side strut tower and down a little bit. with your car, if it hasnt been chenged for that long, expect it to be a bitch. as it is its a little hard to reach and get wrentches in there, but when fuel filters get old, the metal gets weak and they bend and almost break. you have to be careful to not strip anything and not damage the fuel lines -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
