Due to the wreck I had a while back, I am working on replacing many of the parts on he front end. This includes the front bumper absorber (large piece of styrofoam molded to shape of front bumper). While researching, I discovered that this is only sold for the 94-95 years. My question is will it be okay if I skip the replacement and save $$$.
-Thanks |

He's not talking about the aluminum reinforcement bar that bolts to the frame, but rather the piece of solid white styrofoam that goes between the reinforcement bar and the bumper itself. ![]() What the styrofoam does is help absorb impact by giving a bit when an impact occurs. Without the styrofoam piece, the front bumper would smash all the way back to the re-inforcement bar in a light impact, which would cause greater damage to both vehicles. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
