I have the 5sfe. I need to know a few things about the fuel filter. Is it under the air box? Does anyone have a how to? How much time does it take to replace (estimated)? What complications are there to changing the filter? Will this improve mpg and throttle response? My GT has 183k miles and the accelerator feels a little sluggish at times. I dont think the previous owner changed the filter at all. She was driving around with a big space missing from the gasket that goes on the valve cover.

Use a good set of clean flare wrenches for the fuel lines. I think they're made out of brass and its easy to strip them. A flare wrench is like a box end wrench with a small part of it cut away so you can slip it over the fuel line, so it gives more cover then using an open ended wrench. They're made for fuel lines and brake lines.
