just wanted to know how has or has thought about removing it? and for those that have, did you notice and incressed performence?

I don't think the egr will hurt out car too much, I just read this in a toyota spec sheet.
"The ECM considers the EGR system and an integral part of the entire engine control system. Therefor the ECM is capable of neutralizing the negative performance aspects of the EGR by programming additional spark advance and decreased fuel injection duration during periods of high EGR flow. By integration fuel and spark control with the EGR metering system, engine performance and feul economy can actually be enhanced when the EGR system is functioning as designed." So I guess unless ur running a stand alone its not gonna do much for your car. and could cause problems if the ecm expects the combustion gas to be cooler then they should, and it'll probably give you a check engine light.
