HOw long would it take for me to build a custom shelf (not box) to replace the one in my hatch, about the same size, using fiberglass and plywood??? I guess I should ask if anyone's done it yet, but how long does fiberglass take to dry and what not, and is it really easy to work with or a B*&$H?!

It's kind of hard to work with at first, but you get the hang of it. I'm not sure what exactly you're planning on having your shelf be like, but it probably wouldn't be too hard.

You and Amy and Aaron should come up here sometime soon, and I'll show you what fiberglass is like to work with if you want. smile.gif

Oh, and lately it's been taking the fiberglass about 45 minutes to dry for me. It's really, really hot up here and I haven't been mixing the batches with less MEKP, so that's why it's so quick to dry right now. Ideally, it should take 2 hours for each layer of fiberglass to dry.
