what's up guys, I'm planning on having my car repainted by the end of august and I'm gonna be doing a pretty extreme paint job. I want to paint it kandy red with two layers of metalflake. So I'd spray a silver base, then metal flake, then kandy red, then metalflake, and then my final clear. My idea is to have two layers of metalflake, one under the red kandy, and one over it, that way it's got red sparkles and silver ones. I'll be using House of Kolor paints.

Anybody with paint experience see any problems with doing that?

thanks,
Ryan

I was unsure if the kandy was transparent. Since it is you'll have no problems seeing the flakes. I have my doubts about the clear underneath, but it the manufacturer recommends it, then go with it. If this is just some amateur on the net (like me), then check with a real paint shop or the manufacturer.
