so yeah a big mac truck rear ended me yesterday. when i was waiting to turn right. he didnt hit me hard but it sure did **** up the celi. anyways the company handed me a check for $7,500 for the car and what i had put into it. and i was able to get my intake and pully off the car.
but anyways im going to buy another but since ive got a little extra what do you guys think i should do, i figure if i get a celica gt for 5,000 i could look at a 5s-fte which would be awesome. for the rest of the $2,500. and a little extra from work. so what do you guys think i should do with the money i would love to hear opinions and cost estimates. please no 5s-fe NA suggestions. its not going to cut it. -------------------- Former: 96 GT 5 speed (i/p/e) Fate- rear ended by mack truck
00 GTS 6 speed (i/ Bored TB 63mm - 68.5mm w/ butterfly/ Ported IM/ IMG/ PFC/ Commander/ datalogit/ Ported & heat wrapped Header/ Decat/ UEGO/) 193FWHP 14.2(1/4mi) @98mph, 2.12 60ft (just intake, unbolted Exhaust, and gutted) Fate- side swipped by 18 wheeler at 75mph. Next: maybe an elise |

If you cant afford a 3sgte chances are you cant properly afford a 5sfte. The way I see it the 5s NEEDS standalone management along with all the turbo/intercooler/injector/piston/rod stuff and if you change from CT26 to T3/T4 its gonna be even more $$. On another note if you buy one of the motors with the compression raised to get 150hp the turbo you may later want to put on wont like it and after lowering the compression you wont have a 150hp motor as a base number. If I were you i'd buy a GT and drive it until you could afford a motor build on a seperate motor or a swap. This post has been edited by Fox-N-It2: Aug 17, 2004 - 12:43 AM |
