Well, today i'v got a call from one guy who owns the MR2 and was ready to put the 3S-GTE in it.. BUT.... He just bought the 5 gen Carlos Saints Alltrack, and he is selling his 3S...
Well, after some talking, he tolds me that his MR2 is powered by 4A red top. And he is starting to ask about my turbo kit that i have, and he offers me to trade my kit (not in whole, cuz i spent so much money and time on it) to his 3S engine and other stuff... Basicly the engine is from JDM ST165. Actually its one engine in full, rebuild, with port&polish, and other stuff + he gives me another head of 3S-GTE with intake and exhaust manifold. 2 wiring hardness, 1 ECU and etc. the stuff that i would be missing is axels and gearbox from 3SGE (its not a big problem). But the engine is missing the turbo CT26 cuz the housing of turbine is cracked. So i would need a new turbo. So i started to think about this deal... is it worth to trade my turbo kit to this or not? Cuz as far as i know the ST165 had 185 hp only? so the potensial of this engine is not that big i think... actually my goal would be to get about 220 whp, and i would be satified... Well, guys hit me up, i need some options... Thanks, Romas -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

There are many posts on celica.net that suggest not getting an ST165 for a variety of reasons. I would go there and do a search.
