You should be able to get away with running the 2nd gen ecu.... the wireing might be a little different but not a mojor problem that you could not use it at all. You can go with almost any manifold for the 3s and just match up the right turbo( the head exhaust bolt pattern is the same setup. For ex: the only turbo setup difference from the 165 to the 185 setup was the manifold and turbo were changed to twin entry and the downpipe is angled a little diff with an extra stud hole to bolt to the turbo. that means you can use either or to get what you want. 13's are deffinetly possible on the stock turbo with supporting upgrades but if you want to go alot faster you will need a better turbo! If you keep the 165 manifold ...... a cheap / easy upgrade is to get a single entry mkIII supra turbo cause the compressor wheel is bigger and it is single entry too. (it is a direct bolt on fit except for the wastegate actuator mounting setup). "i know for sure it will work cause i have done it b4 and it is not hard to do" this supra turbo will help to eliminate the top end issues that the stock smaller ct26's tend to have.
i think that is all you need to know for now? ![]() DG -------------------- ![]() |
