What non-toyota engines would be good swaps that would actually work in a 6gc? Has anyone ever did a non-toyota swap? I wanted to do a search on this so I don't get flamed. I tried a couple of searches but can't really find nothing ( guess I can't find any good phrases for the search ). I'm sure someone has thought of this though. BTW Its not anything I am going to do its just something that came to mind.

I always liked the idea of dropping a V8 in a gen 6, just love the V8 engine sound.
It would be some effort but would it be worth it power wise or is it just totally a bad idea?  I know it would be serious work.
