 Octance boosters work? |

I keep seeing stuff about octance boosters, as an easy thing to increase hp. i noticed a diffence when i switched from low grade gas to premium gas. most of the octance boosters say they will bost octance from 3-4 pts. Nos makes one that says it will bost 10 pts, but it also says "acts as a lead substitute" and thats no good
 . but in short, do these boosters work?

Doesnt increase HP.
You didnt get any HP from yoru going from 87-93 so I think ur mind is playing tricks on you. The points system doesnt = octane. Its like 10 pts for 1 octane. Furthermore, its unnecessary to run premium although with high mileage engines it does help engine life. Putting in octane booster will do nothing except thin our ur wallet.
