im new to 6th gens all together, and didnt know they came in this style until a few days ago. I was just wondering what are alot of general problems that come up with celica's? and does anyone have pictures of the difference in the interiors between a hatchback and a coupe? which is better in your oppinions? and does the GT or ST have a better reliability record? I love the styling of these cars, and am seriously considering getting one. thanks for all your help.

Celica.... problems???????? i dont understand what you mean? I will now list the repairs I've done to my car: 1. Battery (100) 2. Tires (140 bucks for winter) 3. Brake Pads (80 bucks) 4. ??? To also answer your other questions. The ST (7AFE) and the GT (5SFE) are common engines used in all kinds of Toyotas and GM's. These engines were a primary base for these companies in the mid-90s, so either one is going to be a good pick. Both are reliable and both are almost problem free. The interiors of the 2 types (hatch and coupe) are identical. No differences except the back window slant. Unless of course your buying a GT4, in which... your not. ![]() All in All.... great car. This is coming from a guy whose owned 6 cars in the last 1 year. Good luck in your search and welcome to the family because I know you'll buy one once you drive it.
