Well today I was looking at some of the figures of re-building and turboing my ST. I was going to get custom pistons and rods ,but it looks like I might overshoot my budget. After looking at this I want my engine to be in the best shape i can get it before I turbo. So what I want to know if I went ahead and re-built the internals with new stock parts would I be fine? Will I be able to run a higher psi? And the final question (just incase this plan is trashed eventually) How much would a 3s swap cost roughly? This project, no matter what, isn't going to start till next spring so I have plenty of time to think about it and ask questions.

A rebuild with OEM Toyota parts will probably withstand 6-7 PSI daily for a long time, as long as everything is tuned right.
And a 3S-GTE swap minimum is probably going to cost you $4,000 if you do it right. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
