Cheap Headlight Bulbs, Ebay Bulbs? Options

i see many cheap Blue, High Watt, High Kelv bulbs on Ebay
so my questions is
Crap?
get what you pay for?
should i do the smart thing and buy Piaa
would like projectors but money short for now

You often get what you pay for, but not always. I got some yellow EuroDesignz bulbs for my low beams for $10 shipped I think on eBay and they are excellent! They run at stock wattage and give out a yellow light that lights up the road very well...almost as well as my PIAAs did.

I wouldn't use anything that doesn't run at stock wattage, even with upgraded wiring...I had upgraded wiring for a few months and still blew sets of high-wattage bulbs within a week or two maximum, probably from too much heat inside the headlight housing.

PIAAs are excellent bulbs...I really want to try their yellow bulbs, but I'm short on cash and my bulbs I'm running now work very well. I did have some superwhite PIAAs in my low beams for a month or so and visibility was so awesome with them...my stock-bulb high beams didn't make much of a difference with the PIAAs already on in the low beams.
