 Manual Transmission oil/fluid?, what do i use? |

I have a 1995 celica GT, and i'm workin on changing the clutch myself. It may sound dumb, but i dont know what manual transmission fluid is. Is it normal oil or do they have some kind of special manual transmission fluid? And if it is oil, what strength oil do
i use? (example: 10w-30....etc.) Some one help me please... I want to get this done as soon as I can.

Sorry for a complete Newbie question you guys, but I've been wanting to change my tranny fluid for a while now....can anybody tell me the basics of changing the tranny fluid on a GT transmission??
1.) Where do you check the level?? 2.) Fill point? 3.) Drain point? I would appreciate just a quick description of how to do this very much. I'd just like to be able to change tranny fluid next time I change my oil. Thanks guys. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
