Hey man i am relating to you becuase i have the same mods you do. Ive got a 95 st stick with a intake (i actually cut the tubing off a civic and it fit awsome!) and a 40 shot (wet) of NOS. Well my friend has a 1995 civic with a b16 and he smokes me crazy style off the line man. He runs a 15.3 in the 1/4 mile and i KNOW our cars iare faster than that! I told him mine runs a 14.3 on a good day with good tires. What do u think man? any suggestions? i was thinking maybe taking out the back seats or adding a carbon fiber hood so theres less weight in the front so the engine can rev faster. (o yea, i also have 9mm wires)

You're not gonna break 15's with a 40 shot unfortunately... I've squeezed up to a 75 shot and barely broke high 14's with a lot more mods than what you've listed.

As for weight... the Celica hoods aren't very heavy... maybe like 15 pounds or so only... and the rear seats also weigh next to nothing... a few pounds or so. Weight reduction is not gonna significantly increase the engines revving ability simply because there will not be enough load removed from the motor. Things that will increase engine response are things like an Underdrive pulley or light flywheel because they reduce load directly to the engine... also... weight in the front is better for traction... if you wanna run a pure drag set-up, increase spring rates in the rear (harder springs) and run stock in the front...

thats all the hoods weigh?

they seem like they weigh a ton compaired to my wrx hood.
