So it seems my car alarm is stuck "on" and it's the type that cuts the ignition and battery when its going. I can't seem to figure out what to do. I can jump my car but the second I stop and turn it off, it completely shuts off and the alarm begins. It just goes and goes until the battery is dead...
Things I've tried: - Valet switch...doesn't even seem to work correctly anymore - Keyless remote...won't shut the alarm off anymore - Starting car...the ignition is cut by the alarm going off I haven't replaced my remote battery or my car's battery...those two are coming next. But really my only idea is to completely cut the power to the alarm all together....how can I do that???? Any other ideas??? Thanks everyone! |

Call the maker of the Alarm and speak with them. They usually can help you troubleshoot the problem. At least mine did in Viper (DEI), they also make a ton of other brands like Clifford.
