I own a 1995 Celica ST and now for some reason it randomly doesnt allow me to go into gear, reverse it will grind and i can force it in but it makes some nasty LARGE nocking noises like the tranny wants to jump out of my car, then if it allows it into a forward gear it will make smaller jerks until i rev it and let off the clutch all the way, wtf is wrong with this, its an off and on problem.... i can go a week without it doing this then all of a sudden it just does it and wont stop until i jam it into reverse and then 1st and it stopped clunking

sounds like the clutch is not letting go, you can try a few things...
on your clutch pedal there is a brass threadrod that goes through the firewall.. try turining that to change the point at where your clutch engages at and see if it helps. if that dont work, you can try changing the slave cylinder like coomer said. if that still dosnt fix it, you may just need a new clutch. sometimes the springs on the clutch get eaten up and dont disengage the clutch like they should. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
