I heard from a topic about a month ago that a boosted convertable is not a very good idea because the frame is weak and can't handle the extra torque say around 8PSI. Is this true? Before I start saving for a turbo/supercharger kit, I just want to know will a convertable hold up to the extra power? If it won't then i'll just go show with some simple bolt ons.

people the vert have reinforced frames.. which means they are a lot stronger then coupes and hatches...so go boost away.. and if your still scared.. drop in a roll cage and engine dampners.. and stronger motor mounts..
