when driving home today hurt some noise coming from under the hood. stopped the car and find the rubber thing hanging out and under the car I found my spark plug. does any one know why this happened. or was the plug just got loose and shot out?

Did you recently replace them or took them out? This usually only happens when they get cross-threaded... which is a pain the the arse... I just did routine maintence on my Dad's truck only to find out the #4 spark plug was crossed a long time ago. The plug blew out, and now I'm gonna probably resort to doing major maintence (literally taking the head off and re-doing everything) all because the #4 plug is in a very very bad place. Luckily our Celicas are much easier... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
