Why wasn't the 6th gen GT-Four ever imported into the United States?

a car like the gt4 wouldnt sell at all in 94, just like the 5th gen only sold about 1,500 total.
but if they came out with something awd trubo today, and kept it around the wrx price point. then i think many more people would buy it. i wouldnt car if it was a scion or a toyota, its all the same thing. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
