hi, 1st post on this forum, sorry if its been asked many times b4
my 94 celica has just failed mot on emissions only. garage reckons it may be the cat  results were fast idle co = 4.25% FAIL hc = 124ppm PASS lambda = 0.89 FAIL 2nd fast idle co = 3.52% FAIL hc = 119ppm pass lambda = 0.90 FAIL natural idle co = 0.34 pass now i've just fitted a k&n induction kit, could this mess up emissions?i know the co levels are way off and the lambda is prob worse. also is there anything i can do to get emissions down enuff eg. fuel additives etc. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers nick |
