 rotors and brake pads, whats the best combo |

so, i need new brakes and rotors for my car. seeing as now i have more power with the 3sgte, i was thnking of upgrading the brakes.
what are some of the best brands of brake pads for our cars? are cross drilled, or slotted rotors really going to improve braking in our cars? -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

i have brembo drilled and slotted rotors in the fron with axxis metal masters. they dont squeel or dust as much as i anticipated. but the braking seems to be better than stock. does anyone know how to keep aftermarket rotors from rusting overtime, like any protective spray or anything.
