on my gt4 hood, there is a little air scoop that seems to scoop air into this back rubber part that sits next to the timing belt cover. anyone know what its used for and how i could add it onto my 2nd gen 3sgte? my guess is that its some type of timing belt cooler or a way to make air flow under the stock topmount.

I have been told that it's used to funnel fresh air to the timing belt to cool it
