everyone remember the great meet we had at fdr park like 6months ago? well we should do it all over again, the turn out for the last one was great and i got to meet many great people and see their cars.
here are some pics from the last one.   view the entire album here Date: Saturday September 18th Time: try to show up around 12-2pm. we will be there for a whiel, but might do some group dring around and video taping, and i know no one wants to miss that. Place: Philadelphia, Pa Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park  The park is located at the intersection of Broad and Pattison in South Philadelphia across from the sports complex (Wachovia Center, The linc, Citizens Bank Park). The entrance to the park is on Pattison Avenue. The park is easily accessible from I-95 and I-76. I don't think you understand how hard it was for most to make it. I guess Philly wasnt nearly as bad, but up here in Northwest Jersey we got hit really hard. As for me not being able to make it, Route 80 was shut down east and westbound for about 5 hours due to a rockslide. Route 46, which I live a mile from, was closed because the Delaware River was going over its banks and houses were underwater.....and I woke up at 5am just to empty our basement of runoff water....not to mention the fact that the town I live in was evacuated. Only I was fortunate enough to live far enough away from the flood area that we only had minor water damage and didnt loose our entire house like some people did along the Delaware. But we just got our power back up last night, so this is the first time I've been online the past 3 days. So hopefully that gives you some idea of what my situation was like that day....I'm sure I wasnt alone either. I mean, I love Celicas and would have loved to go, but unfortunately certain types of unexpected emergencies like that call for putting my interest in cars on hold.
