Hi, I haven't posted much on this forum since I registered
 mainly b/c I haven't had time or money to do anything to my car, but I'd really appreciate your opinion on this. I have a 94 celi gt with 110k miles and when I drive it I can hear a metallic rattle coming from under the hood under acceleration, sometimes at low and sometimes at high RPM. This doesn't happen all the time, but it has become more frequent over the last few months to the point where now I hear it almost every time I drive the car. Has anyone had this problem or know what's wrong? Thanks

I can almost guarantee (95%) thats your problem, my injen intake rattled til I put a little padding where it was hitting the side of the bay; it's becoming more frequent because your clamps are getting looser, and letting the intake move more. Tighten up the clamps, and then see where the intake is hitting something, and then either pad that, or secure the intake better? This post has been edited by shid: Sep 24, 2004 - 11:34 PM |
