got the shoppin, put key in ignition and just didnt start just ticked over, after 2 hours a guy come out and jump started it, started first time.

check the alternator, and get an optima red top, or yellow top battery.
 . i wouldn't consider a dead battery as "breaking down". hope it's nothin too expensive.
