 changing boost gauge color, i want them blue |

so i got a set of autometer gauges that im trying to change to blue. ive tried buying blue 194 bulbs and even using blue rubber overlays, but nothing ever looks right. the overlays are too dark and the bulbs fade quickly and change color. anyone have any luck with changing their gauges to blue?

the hyper leds will be difinately enough i would for sure go with those.
